This is a version that is so simple, and still very Yummy..
You can add other ingredients for additional flavoring, green peppers and even shrimp.
Here's what you do:
1) Cube 3 chicken breast and brown in pot with 2 tbsp of olive oil
2) Cube your choice of linked sausage and brown with chicken
3)  Add Zatarain's Jambalaya mix following directions on box.
4) Toast you some French Bread
(I used hot dog buns because I was out of French Bread)
Here's what you get:
A few tips...I place my pot I cooked it in, with the jamabalya still in it, in the refrigerator overnight.  I like mine better after marinating over night because it taste better the next day.  Or just have great leftovers if there is any left.
Also, my son likes his best on a sandwich....yes, bread, butter, and fill it up with the mix and eat!
Depending on how spicy you prefer, you can buy the original mix or spicy and/or the sausage can be spicy or mild.
What's your preference?
