Leftover Ham Bone and Blackeyed Peas

I did have my black eyed peas yesterday.

We stayed in. So I cooked mine in the Crock Pot.  They were absolutely the best I have ever cooked.  Want the recipe?








Ingredients:

1 chicken bouillon - dissolved
1 small package of dried black eyed peas
1 onion - diced
2 cloves garlic - diced
1 red bell pepper - diced
1 jalapeno pepper - minced
1 Chile pepper - minced
1 leftover ham bone
1 tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to Taste
Lucky Dime

 Ready for the water and begin cooking!

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in your crock pot and fill with water to 3/4 full.  Cook on High to 7 hours or until peas are tender.

Serve over rice and don't forget to remove the Dime!
