Mommas Brownies

As promised I am sharing my Mommas famous brownie recipe!
Taking my brownies to Foodie Friends Friday Linky Party.  I hope they like them!


Preheat your oven!  325°

Ingredients:

2 sticks margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate (melted)
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups flour

Directions:

Mix all up in your mixer until completely blended.
Pour into a baking sheet

Bake for 25 minutes










While brownies are cooling make your icing! Similar to a ganache.

 Ingredients:

 4 tbsp cocoa
1/2 stick margarine
1/2 bag powder sugar
around 3 oz of evaporated milk (enough to liquefy ingredients)

Cook in a pot on the cook top
Brownie Icing When a hard boil is reached, reduce heat, continue to cook, stirring constantly, until consistency starts to thicken





Pour over Brownies!

Let cool









Brownies on the plate
Slice up your brownies and serve!
I sprinkled mine with grated chocolate and drop a small melon ball scoop of ice cream.

You will never buy those bakery brownies again!
