Perfect Pralines

Let the candy making begin!  I have a tradition to make candy and give it away at Christmas.  I think there a certain people (psst! husband) that look forward to this time each year.  My first batch for the  year is Pralines.  Being a southern girl this is a MUST make each year.  My recipe is quick, easy, and most importantly, never fails!  That's right!  So set aside 15 minutes and make your batch.

16 oz. Brown Sugar
1/2 pint Heavy Whipping Cream
1 1/2 cup pecans
1/2 Stick Butter
Stir together Sugar, Cream, and Pecans in microwavable 4 qrt bowl
Microwave on High for 9 minutes
Add vanilla, stir
Microwave 1 minute
Add butter
Drop by spoonful on Wax paper
Let cool completely (I usually let mine set up and cool over night before sliding them off the was paper)
