For all the coconut lovers out there I found this recipe at Heavenly Savings & Homemaking and I can't resist quick, easy and Coconut recipes. This one has 3 ingredients. That's right, no joke!
Easter Coconut Bird Nests
1 Bag Sweetened Shredded Coconut
1 Can Condensed Milk
1 Bag Mini Robin Egg Candies
Preheat oven 350°
Combine Milk and Coconut
Drop by spoonful onto lined baking sheet
Press Center to form indentation for eggs ( I used the end of an Ice Cream Scoop)
Bake for around 10 minutes or until coconut is toasted
Remove from oven
When you see your nests spread in the pan like mine....don't freak out like I did! I think my coconut to milk ratio must have not been right or my coconut wasn't dry enough. But I dealt with it. When you pull the out of the oven, let then cool just a minute or two. With your fingers press the edges toward the middle and make your egg spot again if necessary.
After cooling for around 15-20 minutes place your candy eggs in the basket!
